The 6th All Azimuth Workshop was organized online by the Center for Foreign Policy and Peace Research on November 6-7, 2021.
This year’s annual workshop, entitled “Think Global, Act Local: The Globalization of Turkish IR,” examined the development of Turkish IR, inviting not only self-reflection but also the exploration of potential pathways into enhancing the impact of scholarship originating from Turkish academia. During four panels and a roundtable, participants discussed three themes of Turkish IR: what is Turkish academia’s contribution to IR; what factors limit the impact of Turkish IR scholarship; and what specific changes to pedagogical and institutional practices would help to elevate Turkish IR?
The papers presented at this workshop will be published in the Center’s journal All Azimuth.
